NOK Fails to Recover, Adding ฿1.1bln. of Loss from 3Q to Its Milestones
NOK still stumbles in 3Q18, posting a loss of ฿1,105 million in profit.
NOK Airlines Public Company Limited (NOK) has reported its 3Q18 consolidated financial statement through the Stock Exchange of Thailand as follows:
NOK reported a loss of 1,105 million in 3Q18, decreased 61.80% YoY, while the total loss in 9 months already reached ฿1,962 million.
The loss was mainly due to an average jet fuel price in the third quarter of 2018 was 88.90 USD per barrel which increased from 63.56 US dollar per barrel at the same period in last year. The higher oil price made an impact on NOK’s fuel cost to ฿1,131.91 million, or increased 29.03% in the same period last year.
