ICN’s IR Consortium Has Been Awarded a ฿2.4bln. High-Speed Internet Service Project
As a consortium of ICN and Ray Tel, IR Consortium has been awarded a High-Speed Internet Service Project in Remote Area (Zone C) Group 5 Northeast 3 Region from CAT Telecom. The total value of the project is ฿2.4 billion.
Information and Communication Networks Public Company Limited (ICN) has announced through the Stock Exchange of Thailand that IR Consortium, a cooperation between ICN and Ray Tel Co., Ltd, has been awarded the letter of intent for High-Speed Internet Service Project in Remote Area (Zone C) Group 5 Northeast 3 Region from CAT Telecom Public Company Limited who entered into the bidding of the Office of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) and won the bid by offering the lowest amount.
The contract is expected to be signed within January 2019 with a project value of ฿2,427,428,750 and a period of work within 5 years 270 days from the day after the contract date.
As for the proportion of allotment in IR Consortium, ICN has the work proportion at 51% while Ray Tel has the work proportion at 49%.
