THCOM “Have Not Received Tender Offer,” INTUCH Admits Many Interested Parties
THCOM reports to SET that the company did not receive any tender offer, while INTUCH admits being approached by a lot of interested parties.
Thaicom Public Company Limited (THCOM) has clarified to the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) and investors on the issue concerning the publication from “Kaohoon Newspaper” reporting that CAT Telecom Public Company Limited (CAT) is in the process of closing the deal with Intouch Holdings Public Company Limited (INTUCH) to buy THCOM at the price of ฿8.50/share which will result in a subsequent tender offer of THCOM’s shares.
THCOM asserted that, at present, the company have not received any tender offer as described in the news article.
Meanwhile, INTUCH, who is the major shareholder of THCOM at 41.14%, has reported that, at this stage, Even though the company are approached by interested parties from time to time, INTUCH have not received any binding commitment from any parties.
