Following the flight cancellations incident of Thai Airways, the international airline of Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI), due to the sudden closure of Pakistani airspace as a result of tension between India and Pakistan yesterday, which caused several flights to Europe being cancelled.
Later today, THAI has announced that the airline will commercialize flights to Europe again after getting approval from China to use a route across its airspace instead.
On February 28th and March 1st these following flights will be operated as normal:
February 28th
TG 974 Bangkok-Moscow (Delayed)
TG 922 Bangkok-Frankfurt
TG 962 Bangkok-Stockholm
TG 920 Bangkok-Frankfurt
March 1st
TG 910 Bangkok-London
TG 924 Bangkok-Munich
TG 930 Bangkok-Paris
TG 934 Bangkok-Brussel
TG 944 Bangkok-Milan
TG 936 Bangkok-Vienna
TG 960 Bangkok-Stockholm
TG 970 Bangkok-Zurich
TG 950 Bangkok-Copenhagen
TG 954 Bangkok-Oslo
Furthermore, flight TG 507 and TG 508 on February 28, 2018, from Bangkok to Muscat will not have a stopover at Karachi. Thai Airways will also cancel flight TG 345 and TG 346 from Bangkok to Lahore (Round Trip) on February 28, 2019.
