EA-KCE Rally Almost 4% as Cabinet Cuts EV Car Tax to 0%!

The cabinet had announced on March 5, 2019, on the approval of eliminating electric vehicles (EV) cars tax to 0% from the previous tax of 2% on EV cars manufactured in  January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2022 to speed up full EV manufacturing and reduce emissions.

Meanwhile, the passenger pickup vehicles that have CO2 emission of less than PM0.005 will be taxed at 2% from the current of 2.5% depending on the CO2 emission.

 

EV manufacturers and EV related companies such as KCE and EA were on a rise in the morning session.

KCE Electronics Public Company Limited (KCE) rose ฿1.00/share or 3.92% to ฿26.50/share with ฿170 million in value.

Energy Absolute Public Company Limited (EA) hiked ฿1.00/share or 2.14% to ฿47.75/share with ฿335 million in value.
