“MINE MPV” – EA’s First EV to be Debuted at Motor Show 2019 at the Price of ฿1M.

The Bangkok International Motor Show 2019 will be held at Impact Challenger Hall 1-3 on March 27 – April 7 with a theme “Enjoyment of Automobiles”. In the event, Energy Absolute Public Company Limited (EA) will debut its electric vehicle (EV) and will also allow exhibitors to subscribe for the vehicle in the event as well.

 

Mr. Amorn Sapthaweekul, Director of EA, joined Kaohoon Live, broadcasted on Facebook, YouTube and FM 102 MHz, revealed that the company will debut its EV model “MINE MPV” at the price around THB 1 million. The vehicle will be delivered at the beginning of 2020.

The MINE MPV can run up to 200-210 km/hr per one charge. There are two methods for the charging system which are a supercharged and normal charge. Supercharge will take 12 minutes while normal charge will take 2 hours.

 

Maybank Kim Eng Securities recommends Trading Buy, giving a target price at ฿52.00/share and seeing a strong recovery in 1Q19 from Hadkanghan wind farm and the COD of new wind power plant (Hanuman Phase 1 & 8).

EA still has another project such as EV ferry project worth THB 1 billion and THB 500 million worth of EV charging station from 300 to 1000 stations. Projects have been gradually started, expecting the first revenue from the PCM project in 3Q19. Moreover, EA is experimenting hybrid power plant in Myanmar and Vietnam, with a total of 40MW (IRR of 10-15%) as well.
