GULF Announces COD of “NGD4” Project, Entering Sale Agreement with PTT for 10 Years

Gulf Energy Development Public Company Limited (GULF) has informed that WHA Eastern Seaboard NGD4 Company Limited (NGD4), a joint venture in which GULF indirectly holds 35% of shares through Gulf WHA MT Natural Gas Distribution Company Limited (Gulf WHA MT) and which operates the Natural Gas Distribution (NGD) project serving industrial users in the WHA Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate 4, commenced the project commercial operation (COD) on June 11, 2019.

The NGD4 project is the second NGD project completed under Gulf WHA MT. The NGD4 project is located in the WHA Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate 4, Pluak Daeng district, Rayong Province, with an approximate project cost of THB234 million and an installed capacity of 2,000,000 MMBtu/year. It obtained all key permits, including the Gas Retail License through Natural Gas Distribution System and the Natural Gas Transportation System License. Moreover, the NGD4 project has also entered into a gas sales agreement with PTT Public Company Limited and gas sales agreements with industrial users for a term of 10 years, with the option to renew every 10 years.
