ORI joins with DWG Thailand to promote its condominium projects in 10 countries globally, aiming to achieve a sales target of 28 billion baht in 2019.
Origin Property Public Company Limited (ORI), one of the leading property developers in Thailand, joins forces with DWG Thailand to promote its condominium projects in 10 countries globally, aiming to achieve its sales target of 28 billion baht this year. Meanwhile, its subsidiary Primo Service Solution plans to meet DWG’s sales agent network worldwide to deliver after-sales services to foreign customers.
Mr. Peerapong Jaroon-ek, Chief Executive Officer of Origin Property Pcl (ORI), a fully integrated property developer, said that as the company set a goal to become well-known domestically and internationally, it has appointed DWG (Thailand), a leading real estate service firm from Singapore, to be its sales representative for overseas market.
“DWG has a broad network in many countries globally and has a proven track record of success in selling projects in Thailand and overseas. Therefore, we entrust DWG to be our sales representative and to promote Origin as the leading Thai property developer in the global market,” said Mr. Peerapong.
DWG Thailand will promote Origin Property’s projects in at least 10 countries, which are Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Myanmar, the United Kingdom, France, China, Japan and the United Arab Emirates (Dubai). It will announce further details to international media soon.
To promote the projects in overseas is part of its strategies to support the company to achieve the sales projection of 28 billion baht this year.
Mr.Thana Torsahakul, Chief Executive Officer of Primo Service Solution Co., Ltd., the total property service solution company and subsidiaries of ORI said that since the company has signed the agreement with DWG Thailand to take charges of three after-sales services (which are 1. Resale & Leasing Services 2. Decoration Services 3. Cleaning Services) for all foreign customers of DWG Thailand, it now plans to meet DWG Thailand’s sales agents in Thailand and overseas to present its high standard after-sales services to DWG’s foreign customers who buy the property assets in Thailand.
Mr.Denka Wee, Group Chief Executive Officer of DWG said that DWG Thailand will sell the projects under two main brands, PARK ORIGIN and The Origin, in 10 countries. It focuses on presenting brands and making both of them well-recognized rather than selling the projects. With this strategy, Origin Property can grow as ‘inter brand’ in the long run.
“Property market in many countries remains overpriced, so people in those countries look for opportunities to buy the assets in overseas either for living after retirement or for investment. Thailand is an attractive destination for foreign buyers in several segments. Meanwhile, both condominium brands of Origin Property are in strategic locations and provide a high standard of design, functions and facilities that satisfy both local and foreign buyers,” said Mr. Denka.
It estimates that the market of foreigners buying Thailand’s property was worth around 92 billion baht in 2018. Meanwhile, this market should expand to 100 billion baht in 2019.
DWG, or Dennis Wee Group, is the leading real estate service provider in Singapore. It was established in 1993 in Singapore as Dennis Wee Realty before being renamed as DWG in 2008.
