MAJOR Reports a Decline of Profit in 2Q by 5.5%, Offering ฿0.65 Dividend, XD 23 August

Major Cineplex Group Public Company Limited (MAJOR) has reported its 2Q19 consolidated financial statement through the Stock Exchange of Thailand as follows:

In the 2Q19, the company recorded a profit of 505.07 million, decreased 5.45% YoY due to higher costs of service and costs of sales, totaling 2,007 million, compared to a total of THB 1,910 million in 2Q18.

In addition, the Board of Directors meeting passed a resolution to pay an interim dividend at ฿0.65/share. The ex-dividend date will be on August 23, 2019 and the payment date will be on September 4, 2019.
