Foreign Tourists Increase 4.72% in July as 5.81% of Chinese Travels More to Thailand!

On August 26, 2019, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports has released the data of foreign tourist arrivals in July on its website.

The data has shown that the number of foreign tourists in July rose to 3.3 million people, increased 4.72% when compared to the same period in 2018. The number of Chinese tourists also edged higher by 5.81% since the boat incident last year. Indian tourists also rose as well to record at an increase of 25.9%.

According to the data, Thailand gained 3.6% YoY higher in foreign tourism receipts to book 167.3 billion baht.
