PTT Asserts on the Deregistration of “MT MPC” and “PT CBB” to Not Affect the Business.
PTT Public Company Limited (PTT) has asserted that PTT’s board of directors at the meeting held on 17 October 2019, has acknowledged the deregistration of PT Makassar Prima Coal (PT MPC), 70% owned subsidiary of PTT and PT Cakrawala Bara Borneo (PT CBB), wholly owned subsidiary of PTT, which were established for investment in coal mining development projects in Indonesia. After the exploration of the coal development projects as aforementioned, those investments were not worthwhile.
In addition, to align with PTT’s strategy to close down non-operating companies, those companies thus have been terminated in the third quarter of 2019. The deregistration of PT MPC and PT CBB does not affect PTT’s business operation.
