HMPRO Reports a Rise of Profit by 8.5% in 3Q19 after Recording Lower Cost and SG&A.
Home Product Center Public Company Limited (HMPRO) has reported its 3Q19 consolidated financial statement through the Stock Exchange of Thailand as follows:
HMPRO’s net profit for the third quarter of 2019 was 1,482.25 million baht, increased 116.44 million baht or 8.52% over the same period last year, mainly due to the lower cost of rental and service, and selling and administration expenses.
The cost of rental and service was 346.28 million baht, a decrease of 5.11 million baht or down by 1.45% due to the lower operating cost of Market Village business.
Meanwhile, the selling and administrative expenses (SG&A) amounted to 3,004.88 million baht, a decrease of 32.56 million baht or down by 1.07% as compared with the same period of previous year. The decreased factors were mainly expenses associated with operating performance, depreciation cost, maintenance cost, and marketing expenses. However, the transportation and utility costs were in the rising trend. SG&A as a percentage of sales remained close to the same level at 19.72% compared to the previous year at 19.74%.
