“BBS JV” Offers the Highest Bid at ฿300bn, Beating Thana Holding and Grand Consortium

A source close to the Board of Directors in the selection for the developer of U-Tapao Airport and Eastern Aerotropolis has revealed that the committee has unsealed the third bidding envelope which contains the price proposal from Thana Holding Co., Ltd.

 

After comparing the price with other two bidders which are BBS Joint Venture and Grand Consortium, the committee has revealed that BBS Joint Venture offers the highest price which is around 300 billion baht, trailing by Thana Holding Co., Ltd. and Grand Consortium.

 

Further discussion and examination on the proposal will commence. The winner will be announced in March 2020.

 

The three consortiums consist of BBS Joint Venture, which includes Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited (BA), BTS Group Holdings Public Company Limited (BTS), and Sino-Thai Engineering and Construction Public Company Limited (STEC).

Grand Consortium is the second group in this bidding which consists of Property Perfect Public Company Limited (PF), Christiani & Nielsen (Thai) Public Company Limited (CNT), and Thai Air Asia Co., Ltd. from Asia Aviation Public Company Limited (AAV).

The third consortium which is Thana Holding Co., Ltd. and its allies which consists of Thana Holding Co., Ltd., Orient Success International Limited, Italian-Thai Development Public Company Limited (ITD), CH. Karnchang Public Company Limited (CK), and BGRIM Joint Venture Co., Ltd. (BGRIM)
