SPCG Invests ฿2.5bn on 469MW-Mega Solar Farm Project in Ukujima, Japan

SPCG approved the investment with certain conditions in Ukujima Mega Solar Project in Ukujima island, Nagasaki, Japan.


SPCG Public Company Limited (SPCG) issued an update on investing in Solar Farm Project in the capacity of 469-Megawatt, as the resolution of the Board of Director Meeting on 16 January 2020, the company has approved the investment with certain conditions in Ukujima Mega Solar Project in Ukujima island, Nagasaki, Japan.

The partners of the project investor include Kyocera Corporation, Kyudenko Corporation, Tokyo Century Corporation, Furukawa Electric Company Limited, Tsuboi Corporation and other minority partners.

The investment fund is set at JPY9,000 million or THB2,520 million (Rate Exchange at JPY1 to THB0.28 as of January 16, 2020). The project is scheduled to start in March 2020, which has FIT in the same rate as previously stated.
