JAS Jumps 4.5% after Reporting Nearly 50% Increase in 2019 Net Profit from Asset Sales
JAS jumped as much as 4.54% as of 10:24 to ฿5.75/share before edging down to ฿5.70/share.
The share price of Jasmine International Public Company Limited (JAS) edged ฿0.10/share or 1.78% higher to trade at ฿5.60/share at the open on February 5, 2020, after an announcement of nearly 50% increase in net profit in 2019.

Yesterday, JAS reported a net profit of 7.27 million baht in 2019, increased 47.8% from a net profit of 4.91 million baht in 2018. The increase was mainly due to the gain on asset sales to JASIF of 7,233 million baht and the gain on sale of investment in JASIF of 1,732 million baht.
The Board of Directors of JAS also approved a dividend payment at ฿1.50/share to be paid on May 12, 2020 while the ex-dividend date will be on April 20, 2020.
