Thai Stock Market Roundup February 25, 2020

SET closed at 1,439.10 points, increased 3.54 points or 0.25% with a trading value of 80.9 billion baht. The analyst stated that the market made a technical rebound after falling for a total of 120 points in three weeks. The rebound was in the same direction of other stock markets in Asia, while European markets opened higher, but also volatile in their morning sessions.

The analyst gave small weighing in political issues while asserted that after the censure, the stock market usually climbed higher.

SET Index would be able to continue its climb, but would also face profit-taking along the way. The analyst gave a support level at 1,435 points and a resistance level at 1,450 points.

Local Institutions bought back 3.2 billion baht to buoy SET Index by 3.5pts.

BGRIM showed a jumping-25% net profit in 2019 to ฿2.3bn, offered ฿0.22 dividend payment.

TMB expected a low and manageable impact regarding the captive financing to “Chevrolet”.

CTW reported a 2019 profit of ฿77 million.
