CPALL to See Lower Revenue as BMA Limits Open Hour of Convenience Stores!
The share price of CP All Public Company Limited (CPALL) has been mostly on the upper side after the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) gave an order to close department stores and allow eateries and cafes to provide only take away services in order to contain the spread of coronavirus.
However, the BMA had just issued a new order yesterday which limited the open hour of all shops to close at midnight til 5 a.m., including convenience stores. Although the income from midnight to 5 a.m. would not match the amount earned during the day time, it is considered a revenue loss.
Moreover, Asia stock markets also plunged into negative territory, adding the possibility of Thai stock market to fall at the open.
