DOD’s 1Q20 Profit Drops 13% due to a 1,662% Higher of Selling Expenses

DOD Biotech Public Company Limited (DOD) has reported its 1Q20 consolidated financial statement through the Stock Exchange of Thailand as follows;

DOD reported a net profit of 27.96 million baht in 1Q20, decreased 13.25 million baht or 32.15% when compared to a net profit of 41.21 million baht in 1Q19 mainly due to the selling expenses increased by 82.59 million baht equivalent to 1,661.77% compared with the same period of last year because the network marketing business fully operated in the second half of last year. There were the commission expenses for business members together with marketing expenses for building brand awareness.

 

However, DOD’s total revenue was increased by 221.46 million baht or 184.35% with the same period of last year.
