THAI Appoints “Chansin Treenuchagron” as a Board of Directors for Rehabilitation Plan.


Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) has appointed Mr. Chansin Treenuchagron to be a member of the Board of Directors and an independent director effective from June 4, 2020, onwards.

 

In the Board of Directors’ Extraordinary Meeting No. 12/2020 on June 4, 2020,  the Board of Directors of THAI passed a resolution to Mr. Chansin Treenuchagron to be a member of the Board of Directors in place of Mr. Pailin Chuchottaworn and to be an independent director effective from June 4, 2020, onwards.

 

THAI stated that the meeting passed a resolution to propose Mr. Chansin to be another rehabilitation planner in the company’s rehabilitation case. In this connection, the company filed for a petition to amend THAI’s rehabilitation petition with the Central Bankruptcy Court and the Central Bankruptcy Court issued an order granting the amendment of the company’s rehabilitation on June 5, 2020.

Therefore, THAI proposed to the Central Bankruptcy Court to appoint EY Corporate Advisory Services Limited and ACM Chaiyapruk Didyasarin, Mr. Chakkrit Parapuntakul, Mr. Pirapan Salirathavibhaga, Mr. Boontak Wangcharoen, Mr. Piyasvasti Amranand, and Mr. Chansin Treenuchagron to jointly be the rehabilitation planner.

 

Mr. Chansin Treenuchagron currently holds a director position at PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP) and a chairman at IRPC Public Company Limited (IRPC), as well as other positions in companies and associations.
