BWG Rebounds by 3.6% in the Afternoon Session after a 2-Day Sharp Fall.
The share price of Better World Green Public Company Limited (BWG) rebounded in the afternoon session of August 20 after hitting the floor for two straight days and a plummet in today’s morning session.
As of 15:30 local time in Thailand, the price of BWG was ฿0.57/share, increased ฿0.02/share or 3.64% with a trading value of 213 million baht. The bounce could be a technical rebound after a huge plummet earlier.
BWG was in a slump in the previous two days after its subsidiary, Earth Tech Environment Public Company Limited (ETC), debuted the first trading day in the stock market. ETC was able to stay above its IPO price at ฿2.60/share and closed at ฿2.72/share. However, the share price continued to decline even below the IPO price at ฿2.30/share.
ETC, as a subsidiary of Better World Green Public Company, Limited (BWG), was listed in the Market for Alternative Investment (mai) as an electricity generation and distribution from renewable energy and integrated engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) company.
ETC reported its 2Q20 earnings at 60 million baht, increased 158.66% compared to the same period of last year. Its 2H20 profit was 82.36 million baht, increased 124.84% YoY. The increase was mainly due to its sales of electricity increased as the company recognized RH’s and AVA’s sales of electricity in the entire second quarter of 2020.
