RATCH Forms a Joint-Venture to Produce and Sell “Wood Pellet” in Lao PDR

RATCH Group Public Company Limited (RATCH) announced that RATCH-LAO services Company Limited (RATCH-LAO), the Company’s wholly owned subsidiary in Lao PDR, together with Buriram Green energy Co., Ltd. (BGE) in Thailand, and Siphandone Bolaven Development Company Limited (SPD) in Lao PDR, at the proportion of 25, 65 and 10 percent respectively, had registered the establishment of a joint venture company to develop a wood pellet production and sale project with the production capacity of approximately 60,000 tons per year in Lao PDR. The registered capital is 1,700,000 baht or 500 million Kip.

The Project is negotiating related contracts and requesting related licenses. It is expected that the construction of a wood pellet production plant will begin in approx. March 2021 and that the wood pellet can be sold according to the construction in approx. quarter 1 of 2022.
