JAS Teams Up with Korean Partner to Penetrate Data Center and Cloud Service Business
Jasmine International Public Company Limited (JAS) announced that on 23 September 2020, Jasmine Telecom Systems Public Company Limited (JTS), a subsidiary in which the Company holds a total of 50.91 percent of shares, directly and indirectly via the companies Jasmine International Public Company Limited Group (JAS Group), has signed a “Strategic Collaboration Agreement” with KT Corporation (“KT”), a partner from South Korea.
To this regard, JTS will enter Hyperscale Data Center and Cloud Service business which will be a foundation to add value to network business of JAS Group in the future; whereas, KT will act as a strategic partner in business development and collaboration with world-class cloud service providers that includes bringing technology in data center and other related solutions to further develop with JTS.
KT is currently number one telecommunication operator in South Korea, specialized in Internet Data Center (IDC) in South Korea for over 10 years while JTS is experienced in providing telecommunication services to corporate customers and Cloud Infrastructure as a Services (IaaS).
The joining of forces between JTS and KT will bring together world-class cloud service partners, resulting in the opening up of the total cloud solutions market in Thailand which will further enhance the expansion of other services in the future, including Data Center, Cloud Infrastructure as a Service and International Private Leased Circuit (IPLC) of JAS Group.
