The Thai stock market opened the trading session on Tuesday in a wild session with a rebound of 12.52 points or 0.89% to 1,415.36 points before contracting 10.40 points after the first 10 minutes into the session.
SET Index opened with a gain of 12.52 points, coming out of one of the worst session this year that the index fell 80.60 points or 5.44% yesterday due to the selloff pressure in concerns of the resurgence of the coronavirus outbreak in Thailand that could lead to another lockdown in the end.
As of 10:11 local time in Thailand on Tuesday, SET Index dropped 10.40 points or 0.74% to 1,391.38 points with a trading value of 13.6 billion baht. Finansia Syrus Securities (FSS) estimated that the Thai stock market will face a volatility in today’s session, giving a support level at 1,400-1,390 points.
