NOBLE to Trade with a New Par Value of ฿1/Share Tomorrow, Analyst Recomm. “BUY” at ฿8
NOBLE to begin trading with a new par value of ฿1 per share (down from ฿3) tomorrow, in order to increase its liquidity and attraction for easier investments in the stock market. The company is expecting to propose a dividend distribution of 70% from its net profit (currently 25%). The analyst recommended “BUY” at a target price after a par split at ฿8.00/share.
DBS Vickers Securities (Thailand) (DBSV) believes the new par value trading of NOBLE tomorrow (Jan 7) would attract investors and funding as it will increase its liquidity for easier investments in the stock market.
Expecting a short-term speculation on 1) high dividend yield payment of 3.8% in 2020 and 9.4% in 2021 and 2) signing an MOU with Srisawad Corporation Public Company Limited (SAWAD) to invest in 20% of the paid-up share capital of its subsidiary SWP Asset Management Co., Ltd. (SWP), which expected to record the profit since the first year.
