ORI Makes an Internal Shareholding Adjustment, Ensuring of No Impact in Management and Policy.
Origin Property Public Company Limited (ORI) announced that Jaroon-ek family, a shareholder of the company, will change their shareholding in the company by transferring part of ORI’s shares currently owned to Peerada Capital Company Limited (Peerada Capital) in a total portion of 20.52%.
Peerada Capital is a holding company incorporated by the said shareholders. The share transfer was for the purpose of restructuring the Jaroon-ek family’s shareholding structure in order to support the family’s business governance in the long term. After the transfer, Peerada Capital will hold 25.23% of total voting rights of ORI.
Furthermore, ORI stated that the change in shareholding has no effect on the company’ management structure and policies. The control over the company will remain the same as Mr. Peerapong Jaroon-ek remained the major shareholder of ORI.
“The change in shareholding structure is an internal restructure in the Jaroon-ek family, and I ensured that there will be no impact on the management and policy,” said Mr. Peerapong Jaroon-ek. “There will not be any change in the company’s directors and executives.”
