SUPER Invests ฿164Mn to Acquire “Asia Energy” for a 50MW Wind Power Plant in Vietnam

Super Energy Corporation Public Company Limited (SUPER) has announced that on February 25, 2021, the Board of Directors Meeting has approved the investment in a wind power plant project In Vietnam with a total maximum installed capacity of 50 megawatts.

 

The acquisition will be made through Super Wind Energy Co., Ltd. (SWE), a subsidiary of SUPER, to acquire shares of Asia Energy Company Limited (ASIA ENERGY) from 3 existing shareholders of ASIA ENERGY in the proportion of 100% with the total transaction value not exceeding VND 125,144,240,000 or not over 164.19 million baht.

 

ASIA ENERGY is included in the Master Plan of Vietnam’s Ministry of Energy. Currently in the process of submitting a power purchase agreement (PPA) for 1 wind power plant project with an installed capacity of 50 megawatts, named Asia Dak Song Wind Power Plant 50 MW.
