EA Reports ฿5.2Bn of Net Profit in 2020, Offering a Dividend Payment at Bt0.30

Energy Absolute Public Company Limited (EA) has reported its yearly consolidated financial statement of 2020 through the Stock Exchange of Thailand as follows;

EA reported a net profit of 5,204 million baht in 2020, decreased 14.4% from a net profit of 6,081 million baht in 2019. The decrease of profit was due to higher cost of sales and services from manufacturing and distributing biodiesel products and generating and distributing electricity.

Meanwhile, the electricity units generated from solar power projects was slightly decrease due to the average light intensity being 2.26% less than the same period of the previous year as the result of the amount of rainfall more than last year.

In 2020, the company earned a total revenue of 17,199.14 million baht, representing an increase of 2,244.60 million baht or increased by 15.01% as compared to the same period of last year which incurred the total revenue of 14,954.54 million baht.

 

In addition, the Board of Directors of EA resolved a resolution to pay a dividend payment of ฿0.30/share to be paid on 21 May, 2021. The ex-dividend date is March 12, 2021.
