Foreign Investors Drag the Thai Stock Market Down with a Selloff over 2 Billion Baht

– SET Index closed at 1,551.85 points, decreased 0.59 points or 0.04% with a trading value of 78.7 billion baht. The analyst stated that the Thai stock market moved narrowly in today’s session. Even with the 700 billion baht borrowing to tackle Covid-19, the upside was still limited due to the prolonged Covid-19 situation, which cases still remained high while discovering another variant as well.
The analyst recommended to monitor the vaccine rollout, which could impact on the economic reopening.
In addition, the analyst expected SET to continue on the sideways or sideways-down trends due to a lack of catalyst, giving a support level at 1,540-,1530 points and a resistance level at 1,560-1,565 points.
