NWR-ITD Edge Higher after Acquiring a ฿4Bn Water Tunnel Construction Project

The share price of NWR and ITD closed higher today (May 31) following the announcement of acquiring the 4-billion baht construction contract for water tunnels along Ratchapruek Rd. project.

 

Nawarat Patanakarn Public Company Limited (NWR)’s share rose ฿0.23/share or 20.35% to ฿1.36/share, with a trading value of 1,046 million baht.

Italian-Thai Development Public Company Limited (ITD)’s share rose ฿0.06/share or 2.17% to ฿2.82/share, with a trading value of 1,012 million baht.

 

Nawarat Patanakarn Public Company Limited (NWR) announced that on May 27, 2021, ITD-NWR Joint Venture, consisted of Italian-Thai Development Public Company Limited (ITD) and NWR, jointly signed the contract with the Metropolitan Waterworks Authority for the construction of water tunnels along Ratchapruek Road from Khlong Maha Sawat to Petchkasem Road with related work Contract G-TN-9B. The total contract value is 4,014,300,000 baht (VAT included) (ITD portion 51% = 2,047,293,000 baht and NWR portion 49% = 1,967,007,000 baht ). The project is expected to be completed within 1,095 days from notice to proceed.
