BCPG Inks a Power Purchase Agreement with Vietnam to Develop 600MW Wind Power Plant

BCPG Public Company Limited (BCPG) has announced that Impact Energy Asia Development Limited (IEAD), an associated company in which BCPG holds 45 percent shares and registered in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China, has developed a 600-MW Wind Power Plant located in Sekong and Attapeu provinces, Lao PDR, to supply green electricity through 500-Kilovolt transmission line to Quảng Namprovince in Vietnam.

IEAD signed the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Vietnam Electricity (EVN) on July 12, 2021. The scheduled commercial of date is expected to be within December 31, 2025.
