SINGER’s 2Q21 Earnings Expand 59% from Higher Revenue from Sales and Products
SINGER had net profit of Baht 183 million for the second quarter, this resulted from the major increase in revenue from sales of goods and interest income from hire-purchase contract and loans.
Singer Thailand Public Company Limited (SINGER) has announced its 2Q21 consolidated financial statement through the Stock Exchange of Thailand as follows;
For the second quarter of 2021, SINGER had net profit of Baht 183 million which increased by Baht 68 million or 59.1% from net profit of Baht 115 million a year earlier. For the 6-month period of 2021, SINGER had net profit of Baht 323 million which increased by Baht 121 million or 59.9% from net profit of Baht 202 million a year earlier.
For the second quarter and the 6-month period of 2021, total revenue increased to Baht 238 million and Baht 486 million, respectively, this resulted from the major increase in revenue from sales of goods and interest income from hire-purchase contract and loans.
In addition, SINGER has passed a resolution to offer an interim dividend payment at the rate of 0.15 baht per share to be paid on September 9, 2021, with an Ex-dividend date on August 24, 2021.
