SCGP Invests ฿1.37Bn to Raise Its Ownership in Visy Packaging to 100%

SCG Packaging Public Company Limited (SCGP) announces the acquisition of the remaining 20% share in Visy Packaging (Thailand) Limited (Visy). As a result of this 1,373 million Baht investment, SCGP’s stake in Visy will increase to 100%, from 80% previously.  SCGP’s stake in Visy is through SCGP Rigid Plastics Company Limited (SCGPRP), which is a 100%-owned subsidiary of SCGP.

Visy is a leading producer of thermoformed barrier food packaging which allows for shelf-life extension, light-weight, and recyclability. Its clients are established global consumer food brands.
