Oil prices advanced on Thursday on confidence that the omicron virus would not impact global growth although few countries in the world stepped up restrictions efforts to curb omicron.
U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil futures rose 72 cents to $73.08 a barrel.
Brent crude futures rose 61 cents to $76.43 a barrel.
Market eased as Pfizer provided some assurance three shots of COVID can provide some sort of protection.
