BPP's 2019 Net Profit Shrinks 22% as a Decrease of Income, Approving a Dividend at ฿0.3
Banpu Power Public Company Limited (BPP) has reported its yearly consolidated financial statement of 2019 through the Stock Exchange of Thailand as follows;
BPP’s net profit for 2019 reported at 2,969 million baht, decreased by 844 million baht or 22.13% compared to 2018, was mainly a decrease of profit sharing from Hongsa Power and Phufai mining from operating performance in overall, and a decrease of profit sharing from BLCP aligned with a decrease of revenue structure under a Power Purchase Agreement.
BPP reported a total sales revenue at 5,687 million baht, a net decrease of 635 million baht or 10% compared to 2018, was from a decrease of sales from CHP plants of 817 million baht whereas an increase from solar power plants in China of 40 million baht and from energy trading business in Japan of 142 million baht.
BPP has approved a dividend payment for the period during 1 July 2019 – 31 December 2019 at 0.30 baht/share. The payment of the dividend will be made on 28 April 2020.
