The U.S.'s Covid-19 Cases Beat China while Trump Plans to “Open the Country Up” as the Economy Continues to Weaken


The United States already overtook China as a country with the most coronavirus infected cases with more than 85,000 confirmed while China was reporting 81,782, according to the latest figures collected by Johns Hopkins University.

But the death toll still stands behind China (3,292) and Italy (8,215), as in the U.S. the respiratory symptom has killed 1,300 people.

Almost half of the infections are gathered in New York with 39,125 confirmed, follows by New Jersey (6,876) and California (4,032).

However, after released a figure of unemployment in America by the U.S. Department of Labor, nearly 3.3 million people has registered for a job loss insurance last week as several States ordered shut down the city due to the coronavirus pandemic. 

The U.S. President Donald Trump subjects to progress a measures with plans to “open the country up” as the economy continues to weaken under the outbreak. 

“I think we can start by opening up certain parts of the country: you know, the farm belt, certain parts of the Midwest, other places,” he told Fox News’ Sean Hannity. “I think we can open up sections, quadrants, and then just keep them going until the whole country is opened up.”
