White House and Congress Discuss over a Next Stimulus Aid amid Covid-19 Contagion
The White House and congressional Democrats are preparing for a fourth stimulus aid package after the U.S. economy was threatened by a widespread coronavirus outbreak, even they are still discussing about a $2 trillion measure.
The new stimulus bill will provide more subsidy to states and local as well as financial assistance for mortgage markets and tourism sector.
Nancy Pelosi, a House Speaker, told a reporter on Monday that states and local governments need more federal assistance, and the federal should distribute a direct payment to all Americans.
Another possible plan was removing the limit on state and local tax deductions, which was part of 2017 tax improvement.
