Asia Stocks Rise Early Morning as Investors Anticipate China's March Trade Data
Stock in Asia were traded higher in morning session on Tuesday due to investors await the report of Chinese trade data for March, which expected to release on Tuesday morning.
As of 9.54 local time in Thailand (GMT+7) Nikkei rose 1.88%, SSEC increased 0.70%, HSI surged 0.99%, ASX 200 boosted 0.75% and Kospi hiked 1.78%.
While Dow Jones Futures lost 328.60 points or 1.39% to 23,390.77 points. S&P 500 Futures dropped 1.01% while Nasdaq Futures surged 0.48%.
Investors are watching China’s trade data for March as the country returns to business after its lockdown measures controlling the coronavirus spreading, which causes heavy effect on economic activities.
In regard to coronavirus pandemic, the latest report showed almost 2 million cases have been confirmed across the world while the death toll is nearly 120,000. The U.S. still remains as the country with the most infections of 581,679 cases.
