CHOW Records a Net Loss of ฿191mn in 1Q20 from FX Loss and Lower Sales in Steel Biz

Chow Steel Industries Public Company Limited (CHOW) has reported its 1Q20 consolidated financial statement through the Stock Exchange of Thailand as follows;

CHOW reported a net loss of 191.11 million baht in 1Q20, made a turnaround from a net profit of 8.83 million baht in 1Q19 mainly due to a decline in sales volume of steel business as COVID-19 was directly impact to the operation during February and March 2020.and recognized unrealized loss on foreign exchange rate.
