Breaking News! MPC Cuts the Policy Rate to 0.50%!

Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) on May 20, 2020, voted 4 to 3 to cut the policy rate by 25 basis points from 0.75 to 0.50 percent, which is is effective immediately. Three members voted to maintain the policy rate at 0.75 percent.
