Thailand to Reopen Schools and More Businesses, Entering to Phase 4 of Lockdown Easing
COVID-19 Management Center on Wednesday plans to ease coronavirus lockdown restrictions as early as June 15 by reopening more businesses and establishments, said Taweesin Wisanuyothin.
A draft of the plan includes alcohol sales and drink in dine-in restaurants, concerts with seating arrangements, amusement parks and playgrounds, TV series set, schools, outdoor sports facilities, and spa, excepting soapy massage places.
Thailand has reported no local transmissions of the coronavirus in the past 16 days.
Early Wednesday, Deputy army chief Gen Nathapol Nakpanit as well said that the curfew is planned to be lift for 15 days, as a trial, but the State of Emergency will remain.
