SKY Acquires a Common Use Passenger Processing System Project from AOT Worth ฿8.62bn
Sky ICT Public Company Limited (SKY) informed regarding the submission of bidding proposal and offer remuneration to Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT) for Common Use Passenger Processing System (CUPPS) project at Suvarnabhumi Airport, the job details as the contractor must provide service and system maintenance of Common Use Passenger Processing System (CUPPS) at Suvarnabhumi Airport to be able to work efficiently as standard, as well as providing support to the operation of Suvarnabhumi Airport, airlines and those involved in the installation, migration, change and connect the system to support the CUPPS service and related systems at Suvarnabhumi Airport so that the system can be used continuously every day throughout 24 hours. This job consists of at least the following subsystem
1) Common Use Terminal Equipment: CUTE
2) Common Use Self Service: CUSS or Self-Service Kiosk
3) Common Use Bag Drop: CUBD or Self-Bag Drop: SBD
4) Passenger Validation System
5) Self-Boarding Gate: SBG
6) Automated Biometric Identification System
SKY has signed the aforementioned project contract on 11 June 2020, with the total project value THB 8,619,899,751.32 (include VAT) on 10-years contract period from 1 October 2020 to 30 September 2030. SKY has an obligation for the installation of CUPPS system to start the operation within the given timeline including providing expertise staff for in providing service and maintenance the CUPPS system at Suvarnabhumi Airport to sufficient and appropriate for the operation so that the system can be used continuously every day throughout 24 hours. If the installation and service are delayed, AOT has the right to charge a penalty to SKY according to the contract.
