EA Invests ฿38mn in Palm Oil Plant and Biogas in Suratthani

Energy Absolute Public Company Limited (EA) has announced the investment of the company’s subsidiary, i.e. EA Palm Network Co., Ltd. (EPN). EPN has acquired ordinary shares in Kanjanadit Palm Oil Company Limited (KJD). This transaction has been closed and registered with the Business Development Department, the Ministry of Commerce on 1 July 2020 already.

 

The above transaction has been approved by the meeting of Board of Directors of EA on 24 January 2020. In this regard, KJD aims to invest in palm oil plant, biomass, and biogas businesses in Suratthani Province.

 

EPN invested in ordinary shares of KJD in proportion of 75.00% of the total issued and paid-in shares of KJD. The share price is Baht 111.20 per shares with aggregate value of Baht 37,530,000. The benefit of this transaction is to expand business and enhance competitiveness of the group of EA.
