SKY: Ready for Take Off

Sky ICT Public Company Limited (SKY) formally known as the network cabling service stock, listing on the Market for Alternative Investment (mai), but from now onwards SKY will be known as an outstanding growth stock from the digital platform business. 

What is the reason behind this change?…Is it worth challenging its business nature? Let’s see…  

Lately, SKY is preparing the amendment of the Memorandum of Association of the company to be in line with business expansion to penetrate in digital platform businesses, such as e-payment and e-marketplace, and tourism industry like providing tour, airline ticketing, hotel booking, etc.

Back to 2019, SKY has launched the AOT Airport Application, collaborated with Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT) in order to serve the best journey for both Thais and foreign tourists, despite the application still unpopular.

Later in May 2020, SKY has issued the sale of 20,000,000 common shares offered to private placement regarding the capital increase to Miss Aroonroong Srivaddhanaprabha, Miss Busara Uraikul and Muang Thai Insurance Public Company Limited with the offering price at ฿12.80 per share.

Shortly afterwards, SKY announced another good news as the company has acquired the Common Use Passenger Processing System (CUPPS) project at Suvarnabhumi Airport from AOT with the total project value ฿8.6 billion on 10-years contract.

The project included providing 1) common use terminal equipment 2) common use self service 3) common use bag drop 4) passenger validation system 5) self-boarding gate and 6) automated biometric identification system.

Moreover, SKY not long ago has jointed hand with Krungthai Bank to put Chim-Shop-Chai (Eat, Shop, Spend) stores in AOT Airport Application.

Expecting that the new direction on digital platform market would provide an enormous profit to SKY as the company will have an integrated digital platforms through the AOT Airport Application, a one stop service center for travel. 

When the Covid-19 is over, we may see an incredible growth of SKY.
