GFPT’s 2Q Profit Drops 35% to ฿223Mn due to Lower Revenue of Chicken Processing Products

GFPT Public Company Limited (GFPT) has reported its 2Q20 consolidated financial statement through the Stock Exchange of Thailand as follows;

GFPT consolidated net profit in 2Q2020 accounted for 222.96 million baht decreased by 118.54 million baht or 34.71% downfrom 2Q2019. The total revenue from sales was 3,321.06 million baht in 2Q2020, representing a decrease of 1,025.54 million baht or 23.59% down from 2Q2019 mainly from lower revenue of chicken processing business which decreased by 811.14 million baht or 37.48% down, comparing to 2Q2019 mainly from lower revenue from direct export processed chicken products.

Meanwhile, the consolidated net profit for the first 6 months of 2020 was 547.61 million baht, decreased by 21.74 million baht or 3.82% down as compared to the same period of last year mainly from lower revenue from sales.
