SAWAD’s 2Q Profit Surges 12% to ฿982Mn after Booking Higher Revenue from Interest

Srisawad Corporation Public Company Limited (SAWAD) has reported its 2Q20 consolidated financial statement through the Stock Exchange of Thailand as follows;

SAWAD had consolidated net profits totaling 1,070.56 million baht, representing an increase of 187.27 million baht or 21.20% from the same period of the previous year. For the three-month period ended June 30, 2020, interest revenue totaled 2,061.93 million baht, an increase of 18.34% year-on-year, mainly due to the increase in the accounts receivable from 35,255.10 million baht in 2Q19 to 39,926.79 million baht in 2Q20, an increase of 13.25%.

Other income totaled 563.29 million baht, which is a decrease of 36.85 million baht, or 6.14%, from the same period of the previous year, due to decrease in fee income to assist customers affected by Covid-19.
