BGRIM Expects to Ink a Vietnam's 2,700MW LNG to Power PP Deal in Early 2021!
B.Grimm Power Public Company Limited (BGRIM) expected to sign a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) of the LNG to Power power plant deal in Vietnam with a 2,700MW in early 2021. Prior to this, the company already signed the 3,000MW power plant contract in Vietnam, while setting aside 180 billion baht for investment funds. The company expected its total production capacity to reach 7,200MW in 2025.
Mrs. Preeyanat Soontornwata, President of BGRIM, revealed that the company is currently negotiating for an investment in numerous power plant projects both domestic and overseas and expected to sign a PPA of the LNG to Power power plant project in Vietnam with a 2,700MW in early 2021.
BGRIM anticipated the total installed capacity could reach its target of 5,000MW faster than expected as the company is having a couple deals on hand to be signed this year, which would reinforce a total production capacity to reach 7,200MW within 2025. BGRIM had set a budget for an investment of approx. 180,000 million baht.
As of now BGRIM has a total installed capacity of 3,682MW which has yet to include a capacity of 3,000MW from jointly studying and developing the power plant project with Petrovietnam Power Corporation as it tends to delay.
