MAJOR Books a Loss of ฿125Mn in 3Q as Covid-19 Causes Films Delay
Major Cineplex Group Public Company Limited (MAJOR) has reported its 3Q20 consolidated financial statement through the Stock Exchange of Thailand as follows;
MAJOR had a net loss for Q3/2020 of 125 million baht decreased 363 million baht or 153% compare with the same period of the previous year which affected by a decrease in revenue by 64% due to the situation of COVID-19 virus outbreak in foreign countries which affect most international films to postpone the screening schedule.
MAJOR had total revenue of 896 million baht, comprising service income 679 million baht and sales income 218 million baht, compared with the same period of the previous year The Company’s revenue decreased in the amount of 1,561 million baht or 64%.
