TPCH Signals for a Spike in 2021 Revenue of ฿2Bn as Set to Sell 125MW, Targeting to Issue ฿2.5Bn Debentures


TPCH” targets the revenue for 2021 to exceed 2,000 million baht, expecting more COD to boost its power portfolio to 125MW with the plan to further invest in community power plants and waste-to-energy plants. TPCH is also preparing for the issue of debentures. 

 

Mrs. Kanoktip Chanpalangsri, Chairman of the Executive Board of Directors of TPC Power Holding Public Company Limited (TPCH) revealed that the operating result of TPCH in 2021 tends to show a continued growth, projecting a total revenue to stand at 2,000 million baht, increasing from a forecast of 1,600 million baht in 2020, aligned with Company’s COD plan. Power production capacity in 2021 is expected to reach 125MW, increasing from the current installed capacity of 109MW.

 

TPCH aims to commence the COD of a 10MW Siam waste-to-energy power plant (SPP) in 1Q2021. As of now the Company has 1 biomass plant under construction with a total capacity of 3MW in Pattani Province, while a 3MW garbage plant in Yala Province projects to start the construction in early next year, expecting both plants to commence the COD in 2021.  

 

For the future investment projects, TPCH will mainly focus on domestic investment particularly community power plants and waste-to-energy plants and source of funds will be contributed from the issuance of 2,000-2,500 worth debentures and as the Covid-19 pandemic impact, TPCH will delay the plan for offshore investment.

 

TPCH’s 4Q2020 profit is estimated to meet the Company’s target as all 9 biomass plants with combined capacity of 99MW will start to generate the revenue, consisting of CRB, MWE, MGP, TSG, PGP, SGP, PTG, TPCH 5 and TPCH 1.
