VIBHA Jumps 13% in Hopes of Higher Revenue from Being ASQ and Covid-19 Vaccine Subscriptions.
The share price of Vibhavadi Medical Center Public Company Limited (VIBHA) as of 15:02 local time in Thailand, increased ฿0.19/share or 12.67% to ฿1.69/share with a trading value of 123 million baht.
DBS Vickers Securities (Thailand) (DBSV) stated that the Securities has been told that VIBHA has already refunded the money from Covid-19 vaccine reservations after the Ministry of Public Health ordered it to stop selling as the Moderna vaccine has yet to be approved for use in Thailand.
Currently, VIBHA still offers the Alternative State Quarantine (ASQ), however, it has already fully booked until early of this year.
DBSV believes once the concerns over pandemic relaxes and the Food and Drug Administration approves coronavirus vaccine for use domestically, hospitals would receive positive sentiments as Thai and international clients will return.
In technical term, DBSV recommends to “Speculative Buy” when the price exceed ฿1.48/share.
