RATCH Expects to Achieve 700MW Milestone in 2021, Advancing to Invest in M&A Overseas

Chief Executive Officer of Ratch Group Public Company Limited (RATCH), Mr. Kijja Sripatthangkura, revealed that the company targeted to add another 700MW to the total production capacity from the acquisition of a 350MW power plant that has already commenced the COD, and expected to expand an investment overseas apart from ASEAN countries and Australia, which will boost a production capacity to meet company’s target of 2,500MW in 2025. 

RATCH has set a budget of 15,000 million baht for an investment plan in 2021, which will divide into 8,000 million baht for the existing projects and 7,000 million baht for M&A. The company also planned to issue a debenture to use as working capital and/or support the business expansion. Furthermore, RATCH planned to participate in community power plant project bids.
